St Patrick’s Day

17th March is the death date of Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.  The day is a public holiday in Ireland and Northern Ireland, but it is celebrated world-wide.

Non-religious celebration of the day usually revolves around drinking Guinness or other Irish based drinks and enjoying Irish music.

Fireworks are part of the celebration both here in England and Ireland.
